
Homiletics I
A course dedicated to the development of preaching skills. It
concentrates on the Biblical mandate of preaching, the derivation of content
for preaching from biblical texts and the outlining of a sermon to suit
individuals across generations. Facility is gained through the presentation and
evaluation of at least a sermon in class

Marriage and Family life Counselling
A study of the nature, and practice of Family Life Education with
particular emphasis on Pre-marital, Marriage Enrichment.

New Testament V (General Epistles and Hebrews)
A survey of the General Epistles and Hebrews. It discusses authorship, date,
recipient, purpose, message and relating it to the Central message of the New
Testament and the Bible at large.

Evangelism, Disciple and Church Growth
A course designed to develop the skill for personal and Church-Based Evangelism,
Discipleship and growing a healthy and a vibrant Church.

Biblical Greek 2a
A study of the basic syntax of Biblical Greek that develops the capacity
of the student to do basic translation from Biblical Greek for the purposes of
basic exegesis.

African Christian History (With particular focus on Ghana)
A study of the development and spread of Christianity through the
various epochs of history in Africa. Emphasis
is placed upon events and personalities who shaped the spread of Christianity in Africa with particular focus on Ghana giving space to
the evolution and spread of
Presbyterianism in Africa.

Islam
The
study of the history, philosophy, doctrine and practice of Islam. Half of the
course is dedicated to identifying the Missions opportunities that are
applicable to Islamic contexts and Muslims.

Pastoral Care and Counselling II
A study of the nature, meaning and practice of Pastoral Care and
Counselling with particular emphasis on its skill, Ethics and Psychology of
Christian Counselling.

Christian Doctrine III (Humans, Salvation, Last Things)
A systematic study of Christian doctrine as gathered from Biblical data.
The study will consider the historical development of the doctrine and its
philosophical basis concentrating on Humans, Salvation, and the Last Things.
